This sake has been awarded the world's largest wine competition, IWC (International Wine Competition), held annually in London. Wine Challenge, the highest award in the SAKE category, out of 876 brands in 2015, and have been honored as the best in the world.
The high-quality sake such as Ginjo and Daiginjo are finely milled rice characterized by a clear taste that spreads fragrance of fruits and herbs.
It tastes less bitterness and less umami. It may not be suitable for strong flavored dish because of its smell. But it is most compatible to cuisines with fish shellfish and some raw foods.
